We’re continuing to expand OpenTrack’s AI platform with two new capabilities currently in development. If you’re interested in early access, we’d love to hear from you.
Build powerful workflows triggered by OpenTrack’s real-time container data, with no code and no IT lift required.
Select the signals that matter to your operations (vessel departure, Last Free Day, available for pickup, rolled cargo, and more), then add AI action nodes that automate the manual work your team repeats every day: filing with U.S. Customs, paying fees, making terminal appointments, or pushing updates to your TMS.
Deliver results wherever your team already works: email, Slack, Teams, or directly in your TMS integration.
We're opening an early beta soon and looking for a small group of customers to help shape the product. Reply to this email if you’d like to participate.
Stop digging through dashboards and reports. Ask your supply chain data a question in plain English and get an answer in seconds.
The Insights Engine lets you query your live OpenTrack data with questions like:
We’ll be launching a beta soon and are looking for customers interested in participating in the initial rollout.

We’ve also continued expanding our library of add-ons and platform enhancements designed to extend OpenTrack’s automation and visibility capabilities.
We’ve introduced Premium Last Free Day (LFD) extraction. OpenTrack’s AI Agents now retrieve the hard-to-get LFDs your team currently has to chase manually.
Customers are increasing automated LFD coverage from roughly 65% to 90%+ with very little setup. No more navigating carrier portals. No more waiting on emails.

OpenTrack now automatically identifies shipments that require an ISF-5 filing, including Foreign Remaining On Board (FROB) cargo transiting through U.S. ports before discharging at a foreign destination.
When a qualifying shipment is detected, users are alerted immediately with a clear compliance task so nothing falls through the cracks.
For teams that want to go further, OpenTrack can also auto-file the ISF-5 through integration, turning what was once a manual compliance burden into a seamless part of your visibility workflow.

OpenTrack now offers a growing library of add-ons designed to extend the platform’s visibility and automation capabilities:
If you’d like to explore any of these capabilities, simply reply to this email and our team will walk you through the details.
We’ve released the latest version of our rail prediction model, displaying an Estimated Time of Notification (ETN) at the Final Rail Facility for Domestic Rail shipments.
In addition to ETA to the rail terminal, this prediction estimates when the facility will notify that a container is available for pickup, including a projected date and timestamp.
This capability is currently available for Domestic Rail shipments, with support for Import Rail shipments planned in future releases.
We’re thrilled to announce four new paid add-ons to enhance your existing OpenTrack platform and power your 2026 AI and automation initiatives.
As a CBP-approved software vendor, OpenTrack now pulls entry status disposition codes directly from US Customs, giving you real-time visibility into holds, releases, ISF status, and exam details. The add-on includes a new Customs Status tab, API webhooks for customs events, and unlimited ISF filing.
Bring exception visibility directly into your systems with our new Exceptions API. Receive real time alerts for critical shipment disruptions like rolled cargo, demurrage risk, dwell issues, and more so your teams can act faster, automate workflows, and feed critical exceptions context to your AI agents.
Unlock near real-time terminal appointment and availability updates with our new Enhanced Terminal Visibility add-on, powered by eModal. Gain access to expanded terminal coverage, including traditionally opaque terminals like GCT New York and New Jersey, so your team can plan drayage earlier, reduce dry runs, and stay ahead of terminal changes.
Our new Documents add-on automatically extracts IT numbers, Last Free Days, and other critical data from arrival notice PDFs and drops it straight into OpenTrack. No more manual review. No more copy/paste.
For rail-heavy operations, this eliminates hours of manual data entry each month, cuts labor costs, and reduces errors.
Extend OpenTrack visibility beyond the port with Domestic Rail API access. Track shipments moving on domestic rail using only an equipment number while OpenTrack automatically discovers the waybill and rail carrier. Domestic Rail tracking via API is ideal for teams looking to integrate inland rail visibility directly into their systems.

We’ve added support for Bad Order as a rail hold, sourced directly from rail carrier data. When a railcar or container is placed into Bad Order status, it will now appear as a hold on the dashboard via API.
Bad Order is a key operational signal that equipment is unavailable due to mechanical or safety issues. Surfacing this explicitly helps you quickly distinguish true carrier delays from terminal congestion or planning gaps, prioritize follow-ups with rail carriers, and set more accurate expectations with downstream partners.
Know what equipment is coming before containers are physically assigned. We now surface container size and quantity for booked export MBLs in the detail view and as columns in Explore. Plan your pickups, allocate trucks, and coordinate resources without waiting for container numbers.
Live now for OOCL and Maersk. HMM, Hapag Lloyd, Evergreen, Yang Ming, COSCO, and ONE coming soon.
Miss a rail receiving window, and your export could be delayed by days. We now capture and display receiving window information for Hyundai export shipments directly in OpenTrack, so you know exactly when containers need to arrive at the terminal—no more hunting through emails or calling for updates.
This month's product updates share a common theme: the industry's best continue to choose OpenTrack for their most critical visibility needs.
We're seeing it across the board: from getting so much demand from customers migrating from competitors that we had to automate the process, to top TMS platforms integrating us as their visibility backbone, to AI agents being built on our infrastructure. The momentum is real, and we're excited to share what's driving it.
We built a P44 migrator that lets you swap your project44 integration for OpenTrack by simply changing the URL you send requests to. Same integration pattern, better data, instantly.

Leading TMS providers like Tai Software, Turvo, CargoWise, and PortPro have something in common: they've chosen OpenTrack as their container visibility infrastructure. These platforms don't integrate lightly. They're doing their diligence, evaluating data quality, API reliability, and long-term partnership fit, and they're choosing OpenTrack. Plus more TMS integrations like Revenova and Mastery are on the horizon.
If you're using one of these systems or know someone who is, we'd love your referral.
OpenTrack is powered by a multi-agent network that continuously monitors container movements, resolves data conflicts, detects exceptions, and explains why things happen, not just what happened. Behind every API call is a fleet of specialized agents: Track & Trace, Data Quality, Exception Detection, Customs, Arrival Notice, and our newest Explainability Agents, which provide causal reasoning in real time.
Now, those same agents power yours: whether you're building inside a TMS or logistics software platform, OpenTrack's API gives you access to the reasoning layer we've refined over years, so your agents can answer questions, anticipate disruptions, and explain delays with human-level intelligence.
Your carriers get free visibility. You get better data with less back-and-forth. We handle the integration, you just make the intro. See why it's a win-win →
Our new Domestic Rail Asset Visibility feature now tracks any railcar across North America with continuous visibility through full and empty voyages. Upload equipment IDs via CSV, manual entry, or API, no waybill numbers required. Read the full announcement →
Rolled cargo? Now your integration will know the moment it happens. Our new container.exceptions.updated webhook event delivers real-time alerts when a container rolls to a different vessel, so you can surface disruptions in your own systems or trigger automated workflows. Learn how to set it up →
Your new Daily Digest is coming: yesterday's activity, today's priorities, and clear focus areas—all in one glance. Plus, team personalization so you see only what's relevant to you.

Rolling out this month. Let us know if you want this enabled when it goes live!
We know how important it can be to get confirmation of empty return. The faster you get it, the sooner you can close your file and get paid. Our new low latency mode combines updates from terminals, rail carriers, and drayage carriers to make sure we report this milestone as soon as close to real time as possible.
Customers using this mode have seen huge reductions in latency compared to relying just on ocean carriers.
In case you missed it, OpenTrack now displays container weight for shipments where that data is reported by the carrier, terminal, or rail source. All available container weights are standardized and shown as gross weight in kilograms, giving you consistent, reliable visibility for planning and analytics. Learn more in our Guide to Container Weight in OpenTrack or view supported carriers on our coverage documentation.
Knowing the Port LFDs is no longer enough. We know how important the steamship line LFD is and that’s why we report it for nearly all carriers. ZIM has historically made it more difficult to access this value.
Now, if you’re a ZIM VIP, you can receive this critical LFD information in OpenTrack.
And if you’re not eligible for the VIP service, we can still receive it via Arrival Notice processing.
Now you can track containers booked with Dole Cargo. We’re delivering the OpenTrack experience for the growing number of shipments moving with this carrier.
Stay ahead of costly fees with OpenTrack’s Demurrage Risk tools. Containers at risk are automatically flagged in your Exceptions Dashboard and in Explore, helping your team act before charges occur. Our smart LFD engine and terminal dwell benchmarks highlight high-risk shipments early, so you can focus on prevention. Learn more about OpenTrack’s Demurrage Risk tools.
We’ve added smarter barge movement visibility for common barge routes. You’ll now see two ETAs: ETA to the Port of Discharge and ETA at Destination (including barge legs). With this information, we can surface more accurate information about the real Destination Terminal and ETA, so you can plan for customs, availability, and last free day when and where they actually occur. Check out our previous announcements of origin and destination barge moves for more info.
We've enhanced our port receiving window data for bookings before containers are assigned. Now we'll surface the most accurate receiving window to make sure the data you rely on is coming from the most trustworthy source.
Get itinerary, receiving windows, ETDs and ETAs even before containers have been pulled or assigned - now via API. This helps you better plan and execute origin operations. Learn more by clicking here.
Track all domestic rail equipment types, not just containers, across full and empty moves with our signature rail visibility. Analytics on utilization and cycle times coming soon. To learn more, reply to this email.

As an ABI-approved software vendor, we can now access much more accurate and detailed entry status codes from the CBP instead of relying only on carriers and terminals. This program is in pilot, so reach out if you want to get early access.
The first column on the Explore page is now pinned as you scroll sideways (no more back-and-forth scrolling to remember what container you’re looking at!).
Avoid detention fees more reliably with an instant view into what’s staying on the street longer than you want - using the new Street Dwell filter in Explore. New also: Filter by Customer on the Ocean dashboard.
14 new national drayage carriers have joined the OpenTrack network to provide their data free of charge for OpenTrack customers, on the final mile or the first mile. Finally become data-driven about managing your drayage. Click here to learn more about the program.
If you missed the announcement a few weeks ago: Drayage visibility is now available as a free add-on for all existing OpenTrack customers. Final (and first) mile visibility, at no cost and with zero headaches. All you need to get started is to contact us, and we can kick off the integrations with your trucking carriers.
OpenTrack now reports Detention Last Free Day (LFD) from ocean carriers, giving you the precise deadline information needed to avoid costly detention charges. Plus, you can now configure your unique contract terms with each carrier for a precise view of every container’s free days. Click here to learn more →
OpenTrack has been approved as a U.S. CBP Data Software Vendor, and we’re excited to introduce our newest capability: direct ISF filing, powered by the data you’re already tracking in OpenTrack via API or web portal.
